The FAU Department of Music is an accredited institutional member of
NASM (National Association of Schools of Music). The music program
includes Grammy award winning faculty, the Hoot/Wisdom Records L.L.C., state-of-the art recording and pre-production studios. The faculty are
dedicated to the development and enrichment of FAU music students who aspire to careers in music education, performance or
the music industry. With 49 percent of its student body classified as minority or international students, Florida Atlantic
University ranks as the most racially, ethnically and culturally diverse institution in Florida’s State University System.
FAU in 2016 was the top ranked institution in
the State University System.
